Book Riot Read Harder 2019 Challenge

I'm not the best at these Challenges but I still think they are so fun! So there is no commitment to this post more of a reference. Like I need any help deciding what to read but I thought I'd at least share with y'all...anyone? I don't know if anyone actually looks at this thing or not. Would You Rather....

Today's tag was found at Sincerely, a Book Nerd . If you've ever played Would You Rather, you know it's normally filled with difficult choices of disgusting or even more disgusting decisions to make. But this one is about books so, yay! Here we go! 1. Rather read only a series or stand-alone books? I'd rather read Stand-Alone books. The only series I've ever really gotten into is Box Car Children when I was in third grade and Sue Grafton Alphabet Series. 2. Rather read a book whose main character is male or female? I would rather read a book not only about a female but a strong female. Not one who is shit face and trapped in her house because of a lost loved. Like I get it, now let's move on! 3. Rather shop only at Barnes & Noble (or other actual bookstores) or Amazon? I buy most of my books online at Thirftbooks.com but ever now and then I'll go to a book store. I also go to my public library, SAVE THE LIBRARIES! 4. R...

What's WWW Wednesday? Click here Right now I am reading The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher by Kate Summerscale, this is for my Cookie Jar Book Club . I also read about it on Book Riot here and here This is more of a scheduled read. For the book club I split the book into weeks, so I'll read the weekly assigned pages, post some discussion topis, comments, etc and then move on. *secret* shhhh dividing the pages into weeks gives me great satisfaction and something I do it for fun. I'm also reading The Tubman Command by Elizabeth Cobbs for a NetGalley review. This is such a well written book and I'm really enjoying it. This is my work book, I read it mostly at lunch. I'm also reading The Midwife's Confession by the one and only Diane Chamberlain, y'all know she's my favorite. This is my for me book. It's in my purse always, I read it before...
