I've taken book titles that are on my TBR list* and my favorite genres, typed them up and cut 'em out, put them in...you guessed it... a cookie jar. Now once a month I'll draw one to read. I can put 2 drawings back each pull but I have to mark them and once a title or genre gets three strikes they're out!

Since it's just me as of right now (April 17, 2019) I don't really have a lot of rules set in place, like an exact date I'll pick a title and the splits of the reading, etc. So if more people join I'll update it but as of right now I'm just going with the flow.
*not all of my TBR list is in the cookie jar, just ones I want to read more recently or within the year.
